Simona Di Lucchio

The study of different approaches to movement such Aikido and Yoga has contributed to develop Simona Di Lucchio’s personal expression of movement, widening and enhancing her work, devoted permanently to research about the body self and his relation to space, time and “status”.

Her focus points to improvisation, body installation and instant composition ( the art of composing promptly ) so, every time her performances are developed in a new unpredictable way .

In Simona’s performative work , she likes to experiment, playing with the combination of movements with different elements such the use of voice , text, sounds, as a child lead by curiosity exploring for the first time a word , a movement, a space and starting to play with it.
